I'm just amazed how UNCENSORED French, German, Japanese, Swedish, and others are on TV, movies, commercials ? ... compared to the US
i'm really jealous. and pi$$ed!
dam these religious conservatives!! ...ARRR!!!!
do i need to MOVE? .. or just keep complaining? | | Yeah, sex isn't as big of an issue as violence is with them. We censor sex, they censor violence. It's our uptight, anal, Puritanical background | Uncensored japanese porn? can anyone help me find and uncensored movie with the adult star hitomi tanaka that is uncensored? | | Unfortunately most Japanese porn/hentai is censored by the producers of the films as per Japanese censorship laws. Best bet is to try finding torrents of the films. Try Empornium or MiniNova. | What do you think is an appropriate age for a guy to have his own private computer? As in, one kept in his room explicitly for his use - I'm asking on your opinion about age, so if money is an issue, pretend that it's not.
I'm asking - in part - because I just remembered something that happened a little while ago. I used to work in a program for tutoring disadvantaged guys, and I worked briefly with a 7th grade girl, "Emily". Emily had an art project that required her to draw a design that featured a schoolgirl, and she needed to use the internet in the computer lab to find a design. Knowing what could happen if she did an uncensored image search of "schoolgirl", I set the internet settings on the strictest parental controls they came with before I let her use the computer - and STILL got a ton of crap that looked like it was out of a Japanese porno. Keep in mind that I did every thing I could to keep stuff like that from coming up, and that she needed to use the computer.
So that's part of the reason for my question - that a lot of stuff can apparently slip through parental controls. Other considerations for you are: are they old enough to be responsible for a very expensive and fragile item? Do you want them having something in their room that basically doubles as a TV (you can watch movies and play games on it)? Or any other considerations...
Just curious - thanks! | hmm.. That is a hard answer.
My son was only five years old and he was on the computer. I walked away for one minute to get him a juice in the kitchen. Well, he was playing games on nick.com and I guess he got on google and he just typed "abcd" the search bar. I walked over there soon as he clicked it and it was a really bad picture of a naked woman and man. I didn't know what to do or say and I had tears in my eyes.
He plays this game called abc and something else and he said he was trying to find it. I wouldn't have it so they can watch movies on it, because my son has had a tv in his room since he was 3. (okay, here comes the thumbs downs), but it is limited. He can watch two cartoons a day on his dvr and he turns it off at bedtime. I would not allow him to sleep with it.
If you make me pick an age, I would say 13 would be alright, but I am unsure of it! I would limit her on it and put a password on it, so she can only get on it when I log her into it.
My son is eight and he has his own computer in his room. The internet is not hooked up to it though. He uses it to play games (mostly learning games we buy him) and for his music. It was my old computer and it was just a year and a half old, so I gave it to him.. I don't know when the internet will be connected to it either!!
Your question was interesting and I want to see what everyone else says. :) |
