Manga/anime????????????
anybody know any good websites to learn to draw manga or anime?

for like a beginner
I don't really know but you can try and watch the mangas and learn from like onemanga.com or mangafox.com ^^
Manga? Anime?
I love Studio Ghibli films and I personally would refer to them as Anime or Manga but I dont know what these words mean. I'm pretty sure they mean different things.

Can anyone explain?
Manga is a comic book that can eventually turn into an anime. Mangas are read from right to left. The cover of a manga is usually colorful while the pages are in black and white. Mangas usually have more plot events than animes.

Anime is a cartoon show. Animes have color and sound, unlike mangas. Anime series usually take longer than manga series to finish. Usually animes stop short while the mangas continue. For example, Gakuen Alice is an anime with 26 episodes. The manga is still ongoing.

Example:
Dragon Ball
It's manga - www.onemanga.com/Dragonball/1/

What manga/anime site is the best for valuing your manga/anime collection?
I've been collecting manga/anime stuff for a long time now and have everything from signed swords, to massive wall scrolls, and I really want to find a website that can approximate the value of some of this stuff, thanks!
unfortunately for the time being their is no such thing that tells us the value of newer anime collectibles, some have to be sold for face value or it depends on who you are selling to, and how badly they want it.
Is the Durarara manga different from the anime series?
I've heard different stories about this manga/anime series and I was wondering if there are any noticeable differences between them. Thanks.
The novel was written first, then came the anime, and then the manga :)

the manga has basically shortened some of the events, it moves on quite fast in my opinion. however, it follows the original novel plotline completely, unlike the anime which has its own distinct plot line (but the story is the same). In the anime, some scenes come out later, or doesnt even come at times, but i guess the anime is far more interesting than the manga :)

hope it helped :)
How different is the Full Metal Alchemist manga from the anime?
So I've watched all the anime and the other day I was gonna buy some of the manga but I'd like to know if it's all that different and if it's worth reading, if not are there any manga/anime that are like FMA?
Thanks(;
Did you watch FMA the original series? or FMA: Brotherhood? Because Brotherhood sticks to the manga plot more closely.

After episode 27 in the original series, the story shifts a bit from the manga.
You can read more of the differences here~ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullmetal_A…

Anyway, The FMA manga is most definitely worth reading! It's a true masterpiece (imo) ^__^

Anime/Manga similar to FMA~

◘ D.Gray-man

Similar 19th-early 20th century setting. Both worlds have some form of special ability (alchemy in FMA and Innocence in DGM) used by the main characters. Both main protagonists are 15-year-olds who have a strange arm. Both also have a group of villains with secret motives.

◘ Toaru Majutsu no Index

Both series deal with mature teenagers going through a great struggle to achieve some bigger goal, going to particular adventures, fighting for their lives. All the hardships they go through, together with friends and comrades, is in both series almost similar. Sometimes the characters are a bit more guyish in FMA², but both series deal with alot of the same elements.

◘ xxxHOLiC
Both shows have wonderfully developed characters and each deal with subjects like equivalent exchange and what matters most to a person in very different ways.

◘ 07-Ghost

They both have a similar genre, although the story-lines vary a lot.(Other wise it wouldn't be interesting, would it?) The Barsburg Military and the State alchemists are somewhat similar, and both main characters have deep pasts and people they want to protect

◘ Darker than BLACK - Kuro no Keiyakusha

Similar dark premise as far as story lines are concerned, main characters are different but seem to both fit in their perspective storylines well. Common misconceptions from the main charcters, help thicken both plots. Great action scenes of the use of superhuman abilities, as well as the idea of an alternate reality. Overall DTB was an awesome anime, what else would you expect from a BONES production, but greatness.

◘ Soul Eater

Also deals with the idea of 'human weapons' and competing factions who are not always as they appear. Both have humour on the side as well.

◘ Bleach

Lots of action and amazing storyline.

◘ Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden

There main guys in fma wants to find out a way to regenerate their bodies and parts. In Naruto the main guy wants to find a way be the best ninja ever and wants to became hokage which is the leading ninja of Konoha village. There are supernatural powers included in both animes and the worlds of these animes are fantastic.
What are some blonde girl and black or dark haired guy manga or anime couples?
I want an anime or manga couple to put as my profile pic and that's the color of me and my boyfriend's hair. I've searched a zillion different times and i've only found 2 and the only picture i can find of one of the two the guy has grass in his mouth. If you could tell me several manga/anime couples with that color hair that would be awesome. Thanks!
Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye (Fullmetal Alchemist) - I know they're not an official couple, but they're always together owing to the fact that Riza is Roy's right hand person and lots of fans actually want to see them together. <3

Hideki Motusuwa and Chii (Chobits)

And I found this picture last year of an anime couple. I used it for a fic I wrote that my friend requested (since we're both into Megane characters <3), here's a link: i63.photobucket.com/albums/h126/X…
How to draw manga/anime fron your imagination?
I have been drawing manga and anime for about a year but i just find a picture and copy it. I want to progress and just sit down with a piece of paper and pen and draw from my imagination.
Please can anyone help me??
Learning how to draw the human figure will help you with that. Then you will be able to draw the human figure at any angle, with a limitless possibility of poses. There are some sites that can help with that if you're looking for something that's free.

What is the best manga anime series among the animes named below?
i have watched many manga anime series's.but i dont knw wat is the best..soo i like to ask u..wat is the best among the animes named below.

A) Naruto (includin naruto Shippuden)
B) Bleach
C) Death Note
D) Avatar
Death Note because Naruto and Bleach have too much filler and recycled plots and Avatar isn't an anime.
What bara manga or anime would you suggest?
I'm not interested in the feminine boys of the yaoi mangas or anime, and i'm really not interested in the "catch" stories, where one would relentlessly try to win the love of the other and in the end they realize they have been in love ever since the start. That bores me out of my mind. Instead i'm looking for a bara anime or manga, one that has a good story and not just another adult manga/anime like the rest. So any good suggestions?
For those of you who don't know what Bara is it's pretty much Yaoi though unlike Yaoi that's mostly written by women for women Bara ( gei comi ) is written by gay men for gay men. It doesn't usually feature the girly stereotype uke and the more taller and dominant seme, they can switch in Bara like it does in real life. It also tends to be more graphic and more violent than Yaoi. The men aren't stick skinny like they are in Yaoi they tend to be muscular and hairy. It may not suit everyone's tastes as it is sometimes thought of as a hard Yaoi or that the big hairy men are turn offs to Yaoi fans but most Yaoi fans are girls of course the material isn't targeted to you. And don't let the big and hairy men be a stereotype either it's just a style like the weak uke and stronger seme style.

Now for sources. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links but I can tell you that you can simply look up "Bara manga" in google and the first link should take you to scanlations both translatated and raw bara manga. I hope this helped more than the other answers they made me lol, please research if you don't know what you're talking about.
